Once a couple makes the decision to tie the knot and get married, there’s so many things to worry about from the selection of the wedding rings; fitting of the bride’s gown and groom’s suit; the guest list and sending out invitations; food tasting for the wedding reception. There are literally hundreds of small and big details that come into play to make this once in a lifetime occasion memorable and enjoyable.
Experienced wedding coordinators would have a checklist to make everything smooth and hassle free. They would itemize things that need to be decided on several months prior to the wedding day; weeks prior; days and even hours before the ceremony. They’d likewise suggest everything from engagement party to even honeymoon destination coordination.
For the bride who usually bears the burden of stressing over wedding preparations, it recommended to be calm all throughout the ceremony and reception and even the days leading up to the wedding.Even though it’s tempting to delegate to someone else, make sure that the food ordered while you’re dressing up is something that enjoy the taste, will fill you up, not bloat your body and/or make you go to the bathroom.Obviously, stay away from anything that may cause a rash or allergic reaction.Don’t drink too much coffee or soda unless you have a high tolerance for caffeine. You wouldn’t want to be too jittery as you probably have enough to worry about!
Drink small amounts of water frequently to keep hydrated especially if you’re getting married during the hot summer months or the venue isn’t air conditioned venue.Do not drink too much and have the hassle of having to run to the toiletin your wedding gown.On the other hand, avoid drink or eat very cold food and drinks when the weather is cold or the church air conditioned. You may literally get cold feet and the whole body to boot!
As for the food at the reception, insist on taking reins as well when it comes to selecting the menu. And during the lunch or dinner, eat and enjoy what’s probably one of the most special occasions of your life!
At the honeymoon, go and indulge in your favorite food. You deserve it!Order some aphrodisiac foods like oysters, strawberries and champagne even!
